Russia unveils new Crimea-themed 200 and 2000 Ruble bank notes

 

Russia unveils new Crimea-themed 200 and 2000 Ruble bank notes on October 12, 2017. The new banknotes will immediately go into circulation in Moscow, Crimea and the far east, before being released nationwide by the end of the year.

 

 

 

The 200 rubles note is green. The front shows the Monument to the Scuttled Ships in Sebastopol. The back shows a view of Tauric Chersonesos (Southern Crimea).

The 2000 rubles is dark blue. The front shows the bridge to the Russian Island in Vladivostock, The back shows the Spaceport Vostochny.
